Spin columns are convenient devices for performing quick procedures in chromatography and purification. Often made of plastic, these are small, disposable columns designed to fit in typical centrifuges, which generally accommodate tube sizes from 1 to 15 milliliters. Empty spin columns can be filled by the user with a chromatography resin of their choice.
