Deep Well Plates

Deep well plates are multi-well microplates with a significantly large cross-section, ideal for applications in which larger volumes are essential. They are commonly made of polypropylene or polystyrene plastic and labeled with letters and numbers to identify samples. Deep well plates are ideal for sample storage as the volumes of the individual wells can range from 0.5 to 1.2 milliliters. Other applications for deep wells can include analytical measurements (such as by absorbance, fluorescence, or luminescence), protein extraction, nucleic acid purification, microbial cultivation, and screening.
