Description
Ribonuclease R (RNase R) is derived from the E.coli RNR superfamily. It is a magnesium-dependent 3'-5' exoribonuclease that can gradually cut RNA into dinucleotides and trinucleotides from the 3'-5' direction. RNase R can digest almost all linear RNAs, but it is not easy to digest circular RNAs, lasso RNAs, and short double-stranded RNA molecules with less than 7 nucleotides protruding from the 3' end. RNase R is often used in gene expression and variable splicing studies. It can digest linear RNA to enrich circular RNA or lasso RNA. In the production process of circular RNA drugs, RNase R can digest linear RNA and nicked RNA, effectively improving the purity of circular RNA. According to regulations, various residue tests are required for RNA substances. Among them, RNase R, as a protein product, belongs to the category of protein residue test items, so its residue needs to be quantitatively tested. This kit can specifically detect and quantitatively analyze RNase R residues in biological products
