Creative Biogene Adenovirus 55 Real Time PCR Kitis used for the detection of adenovirus type 55 in sputum, gargle, nasopharyngeal swab or blood samples by using real time PCR systems. Adenoviruses (members of the family Adenoviridae) are medium-sized (90–102 nm), nonenveloped viruses with an icosahedral nucleocapsid containing a double stranded DNA genome.
