(A) Serum AST had a lower area under the ROC curve (AUROC, 0.878) than ALT (0.935). (B) Compared to ALT, AUROC for serum CK‐18 (0.962) was higher, while serum CK‐18 fragments were lower (0.925). (C) AUROC for serum miR‐122 (0.944) and serum miR‐192 (0.945) were both greater than ALT. (D) Combined values for serum CK‐18 and serum miR‐122 resulted in AUROC = 0.949. Combining values for ALT, serum CK‐18 and serum miR‐122 raised the AUROC to 0.963.
