K-Gold Substrate is a one bottle stabilized chromogenic substrate for use with alkaline phosphatase based immunoassays. K-Gold Substrate utilizes the substrate p-nitrophenyl-phosphate (PNPP), which is reacted upon by alkaline phosphatase to produce the chromophore p-nitrophenol. K-Gold is stable for a minimum of 30 months from the date of manufacture and should be stored at 4oC. Neogen recommends Nalgene HDPE amber colored bottles for storage
