Tobias Waltermann studied Biology (Bachelors of Science) at the Heinrich-Heine-University Duesseldorf and Toxicology (Masters of Science) at the University Hospital Duesseldorf. He is currently working on his PhD thesis at Bayer AG in the department of mechanistic toxicology. Amongst others, his PhD project deals with epigenomic profiling of human pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) differentiating towards hepatocyte-like cells through investigation of certain histone modifications associated with promoters and enhancers throughout the differentiation process.
