Description
Antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic and antialgal activity. Has been shown to inhibit NADPH oxidase activation in macrophages. Induces apoptosis by phosphorylation of p38 MAP kinase. Additionally, inhibits the association of p47-phox and Rac (NADPH oxidase cytosolic components) to the plasma membrane in macrophages
