A DcpS inhibitor (IC50 = 0.069 nM); prevents denervation of the NMJ and decreases in NMJ synaptic transmission and myofiber size of the longissimus muscle in a mouse model of Smn1 knockout-induced SMA at 10 mg/kg; improves survival and motor function in the same model
