NPD13668 (NPD-13668) is a chemical novel modulator of EZH2-mediated gene silencing, inhibits EZH2/PCR2 activity and decreases H3K27me3 levels; reactivates the expression of silenced H3K27me3 target genes together with depletion of the H3K27me3 modification; effectively suppressed the cell growth of solid tumors even without EZH2 active mutations; inhibits cell proliferation in many cancer cells (PC3 cell IC50=5.39uM); NPD13668 is a potential modulator of EZH2 methyltransferase activity
