Description
Ceftolozane is a 5th generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is a semi-synthetic beta-lactam antibiotic and is used for the treatment of infections with gram-negative bacteria, or gram-positive bacteria that have become resistant to conventional antibiotics. It is also used for the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections and complicated intra abdominal infections combined with the β-lactamase inhibitor tazobactam
