CD4+/CD25+ Regulatory T Cells (formerly known as suppressor T cells) are a subpopulation of CD4+ T Cells. Regulatory T Cells act to suppress the immune system to maintain homeostasis and tolerance to self-antigens.
CD4+/CD25+ Regulatory T Cells are isolated from PBMCs using immunomagnetic cell separation procedures. First, the CD4+ Cells are isolated by using negative selection, and then the CD25+ cells are isolated by positive selection
