Description
Mononuclear cells are used for researching the causes, diagnosis, supportive care and treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), an autoimmune disease that affects all major organ systems as well as the skin and joints. Current treatments include immunosuppression; however stem cell and immunotherapies are under development.
