Immortalized Human Fallopian Tube Secretory Epithelial Cells (FT33-shp53-R24C)

Description

The fallopian tube epithelium is lined by both ciliated and secretory epithelial cells. Recently, the fallopian tube epithelial secretory epithelial cells (FTSEC) are proposed to be the precursor tissue for high grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC), the most lethal gynecological malignancies. The Immortalized Human Fallopian Tube Epithelial Secretory Cells (FT33-shp53-R24C) maintains its Müllerian phenotype and continues to express lineage-specific markers PAX8 and CK7, thus providing a valuable tool for studies of normal fallopian tube epithelium and early-stage development of HGSC
