Human Hair Follicle Outer Root Sheath Cells are mesenchymal cells isolated from the hair follicle outer root sheath. They surround the hair fiber and inner root sheath and are continuous with the basal level of the surface epidermis. These cells play an important part in acting as the sensory organ response of the skin and activating immunologic responses
