The recombinant heavy metal Ta PBMC is intended to provide a flow cytometric control for stable human blood cells that have been labeled with heavy metal ruthenium. When mixed with the sample cell suspension, the sputum signal can be used to distinguish the cells of interest from the labeled control PBMC.
