Established in 2005 from the bone marrow of a 35-year-old Chinese man with AML-M2 after idarubicin/cysteine arabinoside treatment; cells were described to express natural killer cell-related antigens in addition to myeloid ones and to exhibit TP53 gene alteration; cells are tumorigenic in nude and SCID mice
