Description

Description: NT5E Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 531 amino acids (29-551a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 59.1kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 50-70kDa). NT5E is expressed with an 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: NT5E, also known as CD73, is a plasma membrane protein which catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides into membrane-permeable nucleosides. NT5E is functions as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in NT5E can cause the calcification of joints and arteries.
