PLEKHM1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein pleckstrin homology and RUN domain containing M1, which is encoded by the PLEKHM1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as a multivalent adapter protein that regulates Rab7-dependent and HOPS complex-dependent fusion events in the endolysosomal system and couples autophagic and the endocytic trafficking pathways. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1056 residues and a mass of 117.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and is reported to be expressed in placenta, liver, prostate, thymus, spleen, ovary, colon, colon carcinoma and peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL). The PLEKHM1 gene has been associated with the disease, Osteopetrosis. Other alias names for this target include B2, OPTA3, OPTB6, pleckstrin homology domain-containing family M member 1, and AP162.
The detection range for different PLEKHM1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
