PRSS2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein serine protease 2, which is encoded by the PRSS2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in proteolysis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 247 residues, a mass of 26.5 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in Paneth cells, at the base of small intestinal crypts. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally sulfated. Other alias names for this target include TRY8, TRYP2, trypsin-2, anionic trypsinogen, protease serine 2 preproprotein, and TRY2.
There are PRSS2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 25 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
