These ICK ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ICK in biological samples. ICK is an alias of the human CILK1 gene, which encodes the protein, ciliogenesis associated kinase 1. Notably, ICK is known to play a role in cilium assembly and intracellular signal transduction, among other functions. The CILK1 protein is 632 amino acid residues in length and 71.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be expressed in heart, brain, placenta, pancreas, thymus, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon, with highest levels in placenta and testis. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include ECO and EJM10.
Some ICK ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
