These SSeCKS ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of SSeCKS in biological samples. SSeCKS is an alias of the human AKAP12 gene, which encodes the protein, A-kinase anchoring protein 12. Notably, SSeCKS is known to play a role in TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways and GPCR signaling pathways, among other functions. The AKAP12 protein is 1782 amino acid residues in length and 191.5 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in endothelial cells, cultured fibroblasts and osteosarcoma, but not in platelets, leukocytes, monocytic cell lines or peripherical blood cells. Other names for this target antigen include AKAP250 and A-kinase anchor protein 12. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
