AASDHPPT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein aminoadipate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase, which is encoded by the AASDHPPT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the post-translational modification of target proteins by phosphopantetheine. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 309 residues, a mass of 35.8 kDa, and is a member of the AcpS protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is notably expressed in fetal skeletal muscle, placenta, testis, brain, pancreas, liver and kidney. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include 4'-phosphopantetheinyl transferase, LYS5 ortholog, alpha-aminoadipic semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase, and L-aminoadipate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase-phosphopantetheinyl transferase.
The detection range for different AASDHPPT ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
