ADRA1A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein adrenoceptor alpha 1A, which is encoded by the ADRA1A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and the apoptotic pathway. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 466 residues, a mass of 51.5 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and is found to be expressed in heart, brain, liver and prostate, but not in kidney, lung, adrenal, aorta and pituitary. As many as 9 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include ADRA1L1, ALPHA1AAR, alpha-1A adrenergic receptor, G protein coupled receptor, alpha-1A adrenoceptor, and ADRA1C.
Some ADRA1A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
