SULT2A1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein sulfotransferase family 2A member 1, which is encoded by the SULT2A1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) as sulfonate donor to catalyze the sulfonation of steroids and bile acids in the liver and adrenal glands. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 285 residues, a mass of 33.8 kDa, and is a member of the Sulfotransferase 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. Other alias names for this target include DHEA-ST8, DHEAS, HST, ST2, ST2A1, ST2A3, STD, and DHEA-ST.
There are SULT2A1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 5000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
