SLCO2B1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein solute carrier organic anion transporter family member 2B1, which is encoded by the SLCO2B1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to mediate the Na(+)-independent transport of steroid sulfate conjugates and other specific organic anions. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 709 residues, a mass of 76.7 kDa, and is a member of the Organo anion transporter (TC 2.A.60) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the liver, at the sinusoidal membrane of the hepatocytes. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include OATP2B1, OATPB, SLC21A9, OATP-RP2, organic anion transporter B, and OATP-B.
Some SLCO2B1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
