Anti-SWDS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SWDS is a known alias name of the protein SBDS ribosome maturation factor, encoded by the SBDS gene in humans. This 250-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for the assembly of mature ribosomes and ribosome biogenesis. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for SWDS include CGI-97, SDO1, and SDS.
