Anti-SUCLA1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SUCLA1 is a known alias name of the protein succinate-CoA ligase GDP/ADP-forming subunit alpha, encoded by the SUCLG1 gene in humans. This 346-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Succinate/malate CoA ligase alpha subunit protein family. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for SUCLA1 include GALPHA and MTDPS9.
