Anti-LSM13 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LSM13 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LSM14B gene, which encodes LSM family member 14B. This protein is known to be required for oocyte meiotic maturation. The human version of LSM13 has a canonical amino acid length of 385 residues and a protein mass of 42.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, vagina, and breast. LSM13 is a member of the LSM14 protein family.
