Anti-Epac1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Epac1 is a known alias name of the protein Rap guanine nucleotide exchange factor 3, encoded by the RAPGEF3 gene in humans. This 923-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and angiogenesis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be widely expressed with highest levels in adult kidney, heart, thyroid and brain, and fetal kidney. Other synonyms for Epac1 include CAMP-GEFI, CAMP-GEFI, and EPAC. Western Blot is the most common application for the Epac1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
