Anti-CLU1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CLU1 is a known alias name of the protein clustered mitochondria homolog, encoded by the CLUH gene in humans. This 1309-amino acid residue protein is known to be a mRNA-binding protein involved in proper cytoplasmic distribution of mitochondria. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell.
