Anti-PKM2 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PKM, or 'pyruvate kinase M1/2' in humans. The 531-amino acid protein is a member of the Pyruvate kinase family and the PKM2 antigen is a documented cancer marker. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
