Anti-IBP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IBP1 is a known alias name of the protein immunoglobulin binding protein 1, encoded by the IGBP1 gene in humans. This 339-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of apoptosis and the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
