Anti-SH3YL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SH3 and SYLF domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 342 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.1 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the SH3YL1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include SH3 domain-containing YSC84-like protein 1, SH3 domain containing, Ysc84-like 1, and RAY. SH3YL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SH3YL1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
