Anti-NPEPL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein aminopeptidase like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 523 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.9 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Peptidase M17 protein family, NPEPL1 is suspected to be catalyzes the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal amino acids from various peptides. Synonyms for this target antigen include probable aminopeptidase NPEPL1. NPEPL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NPEPL1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
