Anti-EGFL7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein EGF like domain multiple 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 273 amino acid residues and a mass of 29.6 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. EGFL7 is reported to regulate vascular tubulogenesis in vivo. Synonyms for this target antigen include VE-STATIN, ZNEU1, epidermal growth factor-like protein 7, EGF-like protein 7, NOTCH4-like protein, and NEU1. EGFL7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of EGFL7 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
