Anti-CDW40 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CDW40 is a known alias name of the protein CD40 molecule, encoded by the CD40 gene in humans. This 277-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for TNFSF5/CD40LG. It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the testis, spleen, lymph node, lung, and cerebellum. Other synonyms for CDW40 include Bp50 and TNFRSF5. Some CDW40 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Flow Cytometry is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
