Anti-c7 Antibody Products

Anti-C7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein complement C7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 843 amino acid residues and a mass of 93.5 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is a member of the Complement C6/C7/C8/C9 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including O-glycosylation. The C7 marker can be used to identify Brain Fibroblast Non-Neuronal Cells, Fibroblasts, Prostate Connective Tissue Fibroblasts, Type 1 Thymic Fibroblasts, and Ureter Dpt+ Fibroblast Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include complement component C7 and complement component 7. C7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of c7 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
