Anti-CD32a antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CD32a is a known alias name of the protein Fc gamma receptor IIa, encoded by the FCGR2A gene in humans. This 317-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to the Fc region of immunoglobulins gamma. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lung, endometrium, and bone marrow. Other synonyms for CD32a include CD32 and CDw32.
