Anti-p125Nap1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the p125Nap1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NCKAP1 gene, which encodes NCK associated protein 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of p125Nap1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1128 residues and a protein mass of 128.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HEM2, HEM2, and NAP1.
