CD5, a very important antigen in T cell development, is expressed at high levels in mature T cells. It is also seen on B cells, either normally before they mature or abnormally in diseases such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia/lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma. We use this antibody for all of the above.

This antibody worked well for our applications. Although PerCP-Cy™5.5 is a dim fluorochrome, it had enough brightness to resolve the different populations of interest. In the plot, the T cells are shown (positive), compared to the remaining lymphocytes (negative).

A little too expensive.
This antibody worked well for what I needed it. It is always a good idea to test it within a cocktail before deciding to keep it.
