Results Summary

We use this kit combined with immunostaining to assess cell type-specific mRNA expression of the gene of interest. We follow manufacturer instructions (Technical Note MK 51-149/Rev B, ACD). Image: representative confocal image of dual BaseScope in situ hybridization for Npas3 mRNA (red punctate dots) and glial fibrillary acidic protein immunofluorescence (green). Section is counterstained with DAPI fluorescent dye to disclose tissue morphology. Image was obtained using a 63× objective.
