We have used several bottles of this Type 2 collagenase for dissociation of tissues. Type 2 collagenase contains higher relative levels of protease activity, particularly clostripain, which is suited for the digestion of heart, bone, thyroid, cartilage, and liver tissues.

Every bottle has different activities. Need to calculate the amount base on the activity per gram.
We successfully got single cells from liver & lung tissues using type 2 collagenase. We tried flow cytometry and the cells didn't lose the marks. We also did cell culture and the cells grew very well.
