Company:

Fisher Scientific

Product Name:

Gibco™ Trypsin-EDTA (0.05%), phenol red

Catalog Number:

25-300-120

I use it daily for routine cell culture passaging. The trypsin concentration I used the most is 0.05% for my cell type and experimental requirements. The best activity generally averages 37 degrees (incubator) for about 2-3 minutes. Stable even after multiple in and out of the refrigerator (4 degrees).

Tips

The best activity generally averages 37 degrees (incubator) for about 2-3 minutes.

Results Summary

I daily use it for routine cell culture passaging at 0.05% for 2/3minutes in incubator. Also active at room temperature, but takes longer to act (about at least 5 minutes). The cells detach immediately and no loss of viability results (tested at the counter).
