DNA cloning and plasmid isolation is our kind of routine job and I do a lot of molecular cloning for synthetic biology experiments in bacterial cells. I routinely perform 10-20 minipreps a day. This kit always gives me high yields (200-500 ng DNA per uL) depending upon plasmid copy no. for better elution just heat elution buffer and then plasmid elute. You will get much higher concentration of plasmid DNA.
