DNases

DNases, or deoxyribonucleases, are enzymes that specifically cleave and degrade DNA molecules. In molecular biology, DNases can be used to degrade DNA when purifying RNA samples, preparing reverse transcription reactions, studying DNA-protein interactions and fragmenting DNA for assays. DNases are a broad class of enzymes that include DNase I, DNase II, AP endonuclease, and shrimp DNase. Note the units of enzyme activity when browsing for these enzymes, and visit the supplier page for more information.
