Adenoviral Vectors

Adenoviral vectors are molecular vehicles intended to insert transgenic material into eukaryotic cells via the adenovirus delivery system. These vectors can be helpful tools in molecular biology research for applications such as protein expression, cell line development, gene editing, and gene therapy. Adenoviruses are non-enveloped DNA viruses with a genome size of 36 kilobases. The adenovirus Ad5 vector features an insert size of 8 kb and forms a non-integrative episome. Visit the vector supplier page for key details, such as vector maps and transfection protocols.
