Pharmozyme’s Crystal Taq DNA polymerase is from Thermus aquaticus. It is a thermostable enzyme with 5’—–3’ DNA polymerase activity and 5'—–3’ exonuclease activity, while lacking 3’—–5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. The enzyme is free of animal & bacterial DNA.
