PSMB7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein proteasome 20S subunit beta 7, which is encoded by the PSMB7 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the 20S core proteasome complex involved in the proteolytic degradation of most intracellular proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 277 residues, a mass of 30 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase T1B protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is noted to be expressed at a low level in colonic mucosa. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, macropain chain Z, multicatalytic endopeptidase complex chain Z, proteasome (prosome, macropain) subunit, beta type, 7, and proteasome subunit beta type-7.
Some PSMB7 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
