FTMT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ferritin mitochondrial, which is encoded by the FTMT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the oxidation of ferrous iron(II) to ferric iron(III) and stores iron in a soluble, non-toxic, readily available form. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 242 residues, a mass of 27.5 kDa, and is a member of the Ferritin protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is notably expressed in testis and erythroleukemia. Other alias names for this target include ferritin H subunit and mitochondrial ferritin.
Some FTMT ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.31 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
